Children's Yoga

 

​Our yoga groups, run by a qualified play therapist help children to learn vital skills of emotional regulation whilst engaging in a fun, exciting, interactive, yet calming group.

With a different theme each week based around a storybook, your child will learn yoga moves that correspond with a story, enjoy songs and movement, learn breathing techniques, positive affirmations and mantras, and enjoy some sensory activities, to help calm their body and mind.

Please note the group is not recommended for Mum's in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy if yoga is a new form of exercise for you.

After immunisations children must wait 24-28 hours before attending a yoga session.

Kangaroo Pre-school yoga is suitable for children from 3 years and we are very excited to be hosting the group at Jenni's House, a brand new purpose built hub for children and families... We can't wait to see you there!

We offer Children's yoga to nurseries and early years settings, and to schools for EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 (Key Stage 1).
